**Responsible for managing the procurement system and helpdesk**
- Review all procurement requests and analyse the request and quotation in line with the procurement strategy.
- Source additional quotations based on business needs and according to procurement policy.
- Handle and resolve all procurement related queries, escalating to the Procurement Specialist where necessary.
- Upload and maintain the procurement catalogue as per pre-approved suppliers, pricing, and products and services.
- Create and release system generated purchase orders once requests are approved.
- Follow up and confirm that all procurement deliveries are received according to SLA, reporting on any discrepancies and escalating where necessary.
- Follow up on all open orders as per the system to confirm receipt of goods and that invoice is captured against the order, escalating where necessary.
- Follow up with finance regarding unpaid supplier invoices and inform the supplier of progress.
- Provide support to the Procurement Specialist for the delivery sustainable savings across the assigned categories as per business needs.

**Build and maintain stakeholder relationships**
- Advise business on preferred suppliers and procurement of standard products and services in alignment with the BBBEE strategy.
- Maintain vendor and supplier relationships.
- Liaise with suppliers to expedite orders, as and when needed.
- Liaise with suppliers and obtain and verify necessary documentation for the onboarding of new suppliers.
- Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders regarding procurement process flow and create or review and refine, where necessary, to streamline procurement initiatives.

**Perform the end to end beginner level Request for Quotations function**
- Responsible for end-to-end beginner level Request for Quotations (RFQs) based on business need and according to procurement policy, including but not limited to:

- Contract negotiation.
- Price.
- Commercials.
- Understanding of where the basic legal requirements are required.
- Appropriate service levels and exit.

**Reporting**
- Analyse, report and provide recommendations to the Procurement Specialist regarding supplier compliance to SLA.
- Perform a benchmarking exercise for all procurement requests and quotations, researching, analysing and reporting on price and market trends to the Procurement Specialist.
- Report on SBV purchasing patterns, quarterly and as requested.
- Identify and escalate anomalies from everyday procurement orders or deviations from policy for the assigned categories and report to Procurement Specialist.

**Provide procurement support relating to BBBEE**
- Analyse and report on business spend in line with the BBBEE strategy.
- Promote awareness in terms on BBBEE and new and current suppliers.
- Analyse and report on the impact of a misaligned BBBEE procurement strategy.

**Minimum Requirements**:Work Experience**
- 2 Year’s Procurement experience including beginner level negotiations, benefit delivery and expediting of orders

- Diploma in Procurement
- CIPS or BCom Degree (advantageous

**Special Training and Requirements**
- MS Office Intermediate
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard purchase order software platforms
