**1.** **Main Purpose of The Role**:Working with the finance department to ensure that the company financial records are maintained and up to date on a daily basis whilst complying with current legislation, both industry-specific and general.

**2.** **Principal Accountabilities and responsibilities**:

- Daily Bank reconciliations ensuring the bank and accounting systems are aligned, query unallocated and unknown items with senior accountant to allow correct treatment.
- Allocating to the receivable and payable ledgers on a daily basis.
- Raising sales invoices and sending them to clients
- Review and allocate credits on the receivable ledger
- Upload bank payment runs from the accounting system to the bank system
- Support other members of the finance team when required
- Month end reconciliation of all accounts on the receivable and payable ledgers
- Update and maintain prepayment schedules
- Credit control
- Contacting tenants and landlords in regards unpaid invoices and rents in accordance with our company policies and guidelines
- Experienced with Xero accounting software (requirement)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- AAT qualified or similar
- Experienced with using Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage their own workload and work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working within a property company
- Can work 25 to 30 hours per week across Mon-Fri
