**Minimum requirements for the role**:

- Must have a B.Sc. Agric degree in Animal Science or B.Com in Business Management
- Previous sales experience in Animal Feed or Feed Additives is required
- Must have a valid drivers license, own car and be willing to travel extensively
- Above-average communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels, including farmers, will be required
- Identifying new customers, and developing and promoting sales by presenting the range of products available.
- Offering prompt, effective technical support to customers according to a call plan.
- Maintaining existing business and developing new markets.
- Resolving customer queries or complaints.
- Promoting new products to both existing and potential customers.
- Managing product trials as required by customers.
- Compiling and submitting detailed monthly reports to the Sales Manager.
- Achieving budgeted sales and margins as defined annually.
- Obtaining, recording and updating detailed information on the usage of products by customers.
- Ensuring that updated prices are communicated to customers.
- Reporting on market activities and competitor activity to the Sales Manager in accordance with the companys Reporting Procedure.
**Salary package is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
