You’re a team player above all things. You are a believer of process, efficiency and follow through. You work well within chaos, and you have strong planning and organisation skills, strategic thinking and a good understanding of fleet management principles.
**What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)**
You will be involved in fleet planning and optimization, equipment procurement, process improvement, compliance and safety and data analysis and reporting. You will need to ensure exceptional customer service by managing their inquiries, resolving issues, and maintain strong relations with rental customers. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, to align rental fleet operations with the businesses objections and build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners.
**Where you’ll be doing it**
When you’re not out at meetings you will be based from the office, in the East of Johannesburg, within the local subsidiary of a global group. You will be joining a well-established and stable company that specialises in material handling and intralogistics solutions.
**What you’ll need**
Most critical is your team work ethic and values, combined with a demonstrated track record of fleet management, or rental operations. You have knowledge of equipment maintenance, logistics, and fleet management principles. You will also need a valid driver’s license as you will be required to travel to sites.
