**Core Description**:
Responsible for the execution of IT programmes and projects or groups of projects within the Openserve environment according to PMBOK, AGILE and or Hybrid (combination of Agile, Waterfall and other) project methodologies. Ensure that Openserve programmes or projects produce the deliverables at the required standard of quality within the specified constraints of time, cost and quality, to achieve the benefits defined in the business case. Work with vendors and suppliers to meet project objectives.

**Competencies**:
FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE
PMBOK; Waterfall software delivery methodology, Software Development Life Cycle, Agile software delivery methodology; Measurement tracking techniques for projects and programmes; Organisational Change Management; Telco industry and operator knowledge; Financial Management; Knowledge of software architecture; Data cleaning strategies; Hybrid software delivery methods combining Waterfall and AGILE; Requirements definition techniques; Requirements analysis techniques; Solution design methodologies; Solution build and software testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, performance and regression testing); Scrum master techniques.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

**Required Certification**:
Project Management certification (PMBok, Agile)

**Qualifications**:
Relevant 3 -year IT degree/ diploma (NQF level 6)

**Experience**:
5 years’ experience in Project management. Experience as a scrum master will be an advantage.

**Special Requirements**:
Valid driver's license.

Willing to travel.

Ability to work under pressure for long durations

**Comments**:
Applicants must have sound knowledge of SDLC projects and HW implementations. Have Scrum master experience and have executed Agile projects before.
