**Job Description**:
This role is primarily responsible for achieving agreed revenue as well as new business targets by developing new and repeat business opportunities. In addition, this role is required to develop strong relationships with key business executives and stakeholders to communicate the company value proposition.
The Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, scoping, designing, and executing strategic consulting projects and solutions to high value corporate clients. Responsibility includes understanding the client’s strategic needs and goals, setting direction for the client, as well as identifying opportunities for the strategic deployment of Experian’s products and services across the Account Managers portfolio.
The Account Manager should exhibit the ability to develop and identify opportunities as well as to expand relationships within their client base and effectively position Experian’s offering as part of the Tier 1 Account Management team.
The role is aimed at a senior Account Manager who has experience working in challenging but rewarding environments.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant degree/diploma
- 10 - 15 years sales experience
**Experience**
- Able to adopt a confident and persuasive verbal and written communication style
- Able to interpret technical features into commercial benefits
- Able to manage moderate complexity and ambiguity independently
- Able to monitor market trends and industry directions
- Able to use complex information effectively to simplify systems and make sound business decisions
- Build and leverage client relationships
- Experience in a sales and account management function within large regional/global organisations advantageous
- Facilitate and coordinate resources
- Able to handle conflict management at a customer level
- Leadership and management of sales/customer service resources
- Manage and run workshops and seminars
- Negotiation skills
- Perform under pressure and juggle conflicting priorities across several clients
- Provide sustainable client solutions
- Understanding of managing high worth customer relationships and growing revenues through business development and account management
- Understanding of relationship building at senior and C-Level
- Understanding of the complexities and decision-making processes of a large organisation
- Work independently, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Work to tight timelines
- Working in and with cross functional teams
**Knowledge**
- Able to work collaboratively in teams
- Adapt quickly to change and multiple demands
- Knowledge of developing and maintaining a robust sales, reporting, and forecasting system
- Able to articulate themselves effectively in order to drive positive communication
- Assess commercial/business issues to negotiate project priorities
- Assimilate and process information from different sources
- Understanding of Bureau data and how bureaux operate
- General Understanding of how scorecards are used and implemented
- Capabilities of the Experian product range and ability to assist clients in implementing and testing new solutions.
- Commercial acumen including Finance, Legal and Risk management
- Contribute to producing quality sales proposals, RFP and Tender documentation
- Deal with business and technical issues
