The Hydrographic Surveyor is responsible for the precise positioning, data acquisition and processing of the survey systems on our mining vessels.

**Requirements**:

- BSc / MSc or higher - Hydrography
- Degree - Survey science, land surveying, marine or nautical science as a minimum
- Offshore surveying operations experience (min. 5 years)
- Satellite and underwater positioning experience
- Kongsberg and QINCY software (sound knowledge and experience)
- Willing to undergo a polygraph test as part of the pre-employment process
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
- Excellent report writing skills with strict attention to detail

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From R65,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:

- offshore surveying: 5 years (preferred)
