We are looking for MQA Rehabilitation Intern. This individual will be responsible for providing assistance with formulating rehabilitation plans and strategies, conducting field research and contributing to the growth of the Rehabilitation Unit.
- Assisting with the compilation of rehabilitation plans and financial provision estimates;
- A good understanding of soil science and how soils relate to rehabilitation;
- Knowledge related to plants and suitable plants for rehabilitation (especially grasses that can be utilized for rehabilitation);
- Thorough understanding of different techniques that can be used for rehabilitation;
- Legal knowledge associated with rehabilitation;
- Assist with client assessments and the development of individualized rehabilitation plans
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary care planning
- Knowledge of potential shortcomings related to existing sites that have been rehabilitated and how to address these shortcomings;
- Knowledge of monitoring protocols that can be implemented post rehabilitation to monitor the success of rehabilitation;
- Good verbal and writing skills;
**Qualifications**
- BSc degree in Ecology or Natural Sciences (or similar)
- Driver's license is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
