Recruitment and Administration Manager

**Job Purpose**:
Manages, co-ordinates and controls the staff and administration of the recruitment process within the Human Capital Unit.
**Special Conditions**:
Hours of Work: 5 Day-40 Hour week.
**Key Responsibility Areas**:
Manages and controls the performance of staff and is responsible for staff administration.
Manages and controls the recruitment function for the Unit/s through the supervision of
subordinate staff.
Responsible for the administration and control of the assets for the Human Capital
Department and reporting regularly thereon.
Controls the Staff Establishment and Organogram Administration.
Providing statistical and other reporting and assumes responsibility for the compilation and
distribution of circulars.
Prepares the salary budget / staff estimates for the Unit in consultation with the Senior
Manager / Deputy Head Human Capital.
Plans and controls the operating and capital budget for the Human Capital Services Unit.
Offers guidance and administrative support to management and employees on relevant
matters.
Responsible for the management and administration of the councils locomotion scheme and long service awards for the Unit/s.
Provides general administration services in terms of pool vehicles, requisition processing,
stationery, etc.
Manages the liaison function.
Maintains audit standards and attending to internal and external audit queries.
Undertakes special projects of an administrative nature.
**Essential Requirements**:
Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification.
Valid motor vehicle drivers license (Code B).
3 Years relevant experience.
Previous supervisory experience.
Computer Literacy.
**Preferred Requirements**:
4 Years relevant experience.
