Credit Controller

A great opportunity for a credit controller at a well-established company in the residential property fund industry. The company is situated in Stellenbosch.
**Key Responsibilities and duties**
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts
- Full Creditors function
- Processing and reconciliation of invoices and accounts.
- Negotiate payment arrangements.
- Follow up and collect all outstanding fees from current and ex-tenants who are in arrears.
- Generating reminder letters
- Responding to relevant tenant enquiries (e.g. account reconciliation, assessment rates, utilities etc.).
- Managing changes in client payment methods.
- Checking and posting of receipts to accounting systems.
- Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required.
- Managing sales ledger.
- Providing administrative support to the team.
- Ensure that all files handed over to Legal are accurate and complete.
**Requirements**:
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Accounting will be an advantage.
- 3+ years credit control experience.
- Bookkeeping experience will be an advantage.
- Computer Literacy - Microsoft Word, Excel
- Excellent Afrikaans & English communication skills, both written and verbally.
- Detail orientated.
- Team player that can work independently.
- Work efficiently under pressure.
**Salary - **R12k to R18k, negotiable and depending on experience.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R12,000.00 - R18,000.00 per month
