We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our team as the Deputy Director of Sales and Marketing in the vibrant and competitive relevant industry. As the Deputy Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic initiatives of the sales and marketing department, driving revenue growth, and contributing to the success of our products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Director in recruiting, training, and leading a high-performing sales team focused on product sales.
- Provide guidance and support to sales representatives, ensuring alignment with sales targets and objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, garment retailers, and distributors.
- Address client needs and concerns, working collaboratively with the customer relationship department.
- Collaborate with the Director to implement effective sales strategies, including channel development, client acquisition, and account management.
- Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to enhance garment product sales.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising initiatives tailored to the garment industry.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- Support market research efforts to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the garment sector.
- Provide insights to enhance product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate in implementing robust sales forecasting processes to track performance against targets.
- Contribute to regular reports to executive leadership on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Assist in planning and participating in relevant trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase garment products and expand business networks.
- Identify opportunities for sponsorships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to oversee digital marketing campaigns, social media initiatives, and online advertising efforts.
- Utilize digital platforms to engage with garment enthusiasts, retailers, and distributors.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors or Master's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the relevant industry.
- In-depth knowledge of garment products, têxtiles, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated success in supporting and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide a sales team and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for client relationship management.
- Familiarity with digital marketing, social media, and online advertising in the relevant sector.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working with renowned garment brands or manufacturers.
- Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the relevant industry.
- Familiarity with garment production processes and supply chain management.

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month
