**PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE**
- ( _Longmeadow, Johannesburg)**POSITION OVERVIEW**

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the person in this position will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing activities of an organization, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and supplier relationships.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Supplier management identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain strong relationships. This includes assessing supplier performance and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Contract negotiation and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms, ensuring that procurement activities align with the organization’s strategic goals.

Procurement strategy development and implement procurement policies and strategies that enhance efficiency and support the organization’s operational and business development objectives.

Market analysis on market trends and research potential suppliers to ensure the organization is getting the best value for its purchases. Both locally and internationally.

Inventory management tracking inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages.
- Reporting and documentation maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance, and prepare reports for management review including all Puratos reporting.

**JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- **Education**:A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, CPIM or a related field and a certification in Strategic Procurement with a professional body would be an added advantage
- **Experience**:5 -10 years previous experience in procurement or supply chain management, in FMCG.
- **Skills**:Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
