Hydraulic Fitter

The incumbent is required to employee his trade skills and experience in the servicing, repairs and maintenance of Hydraulic equipment.

Key Duties and Functions:

- Carry out work according to job card detail or as directed, in full and on time.
- Mentor, coach and lead work groups as apprentices and general assistants.
- Carry out related field Service work as and when required
- Carry out all work in accordance with best Hydraulic Practice and in Accordance with legislative norms and engineering standards
- Maintain trade tools and general equipment in good order.
- Maintain the work environment in a clean state and to a safe standard.
- Diagnose faults and decided on remedial repair action.
- Determine a scope of work and documents accordingly.
- Disassemble, clean, replace and test hydraulic equipment.
- Be willing to under\go training and learn skills beyond the field of Hydraulics as and when required.
- Be willing carry out hands on work that may not specifically related to Hydraulics such as-Lubrication, Materials Handling, Drives, Condition, Mechanical fitting etc.

**Minimum and Requirements**:

- Matric.
- Valid trade Qualification.
- Minimum 5 years Hydraulic Fitter Experience.
- Work overtime and on public holidays as when tasks demand.
- Self-driven and able to work unsupervised or with limited supervision.
- Valid driver’s licence.
