**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising plans aligned with the organisation’s goals.
- Identify and pursue diverse funding opportunities, including individual donors, corporate sponsorships, government grants, and institutional funding.

**Donor Engagement**:

- Cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors to build long-term support.
- Leverage personal and professional networks to expand the foundation's donor base.

**Proposal Writing & Grant Applications**:

- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and government grant processes.

**Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR/CSI)**:

- Collaborate with corporate partners to secure sponsorships and donations.
- Develop tailored proposals for companies seeking to fulfil their CSR/CSI objectives.

**Growth Management**:

- Oversee the allocation of funding to various programs to maximise impact.
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance, including ROI and donor satisfaction.

**Event Coordination**:

- Organise fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to raise awareness and funds.

**Financial Stewardship**:

- Work closely with the finance team to ensure transparency and effective use of funds.
- Prepare and present regular financial and progress reports to stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit management, or related roles.
- Proven success in securing major donations, grants, and sponsorships.
- Familiarity with South African government grant processes and corporate giving frameworks (CSR/CSI).

**Skills**:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to prepare detailed budgets and funding forecasts.
- Proficiency in fundraising software and donor management systems.
