Marketing Assistant

We are looking to hire an incredibly motivated, driven individual that wants to work in and learn more about the digital marketing sector. You will be working one-on-one with your manager, assisting with daily administrative tasks and entry-level (to start with) digital marketing & design tasks. You will be working in office in **Bellville South** from **Monday to Friday**. This is **NOT** a remote position.

You do not need any prior experience in digital or other marketing for this role, everything you need to know will be taught. One of the amazing benefits of this role is the hands-on, thorough training you will be provided to level up your skills.

Your daily focus will be on the development of our brand and marketing, as well as third parties' (clients) brand and marketing through various **administrative,** **writing**and **design** tasks.

**Possible responsibilities (all training will be provided)**:

- Short-form content writing for social media posts
- Scheduling of social media posts
- Long-form content writing and research for articles and blogs
- Basic website work such as posting articles and blogs and changing images
- Search engine optimisation (SEO) for articles, blogs, products and web pages
- Data entry
- Basic Canva design work
- General administrative tasks
- Personal assistance tasks/ basic secretarial work
- Mailer writing and scheduling

**Required skills and experience**:

- **No experience in marketing/ digital marketing is required**:

- Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written (English)
- Amazing English writing skills
- Fantastic research (via the internet) skills
- Being punctual and quick to respond and communicate
- Ability to organise and multitask
- **Decent understanding of Canva**:

- Excellent grasp of Google Sheets & Docs
- Fast learner
- Meticulous & amazing attention to detail
- Honesty and integrity is incredibly important for this role
- Prior experience in social media management is beneficial, **but not required**:

- Prior experience in SEO is beneficial, **but not required**:

- Prior experience in website development and design is beneficial, **but not required**:

- Prior experience in Active Campaign is beneficial, **but not required**:

**Job type**: Full time, Monday to Friday at our offices in Bellville South. Working hours are from 8:00 to 17:00 OR 8:30 to 17:30.

**Salary**: R6000 per month (non-negotiable)
