**GUEST LIAISON & EVENT COORDINATOR - CAPE TOWN - R18000PM**

The Right Company are currently recruiting for a Guest Liaison & Event Coordinator for a stunning Hotel in Cape Town.

Minimum Requirements:

- Matric
- National Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar advantageous
- Computer skills - MS Office
- Two years of work experience needed
- Hospitality / Events experience (preferably)
- Must be willing to work weekends
- Valid driver’s license and own transport

Personal Attributes:

- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Friendly and positive communicator
- Always maintain composure under pressure and remain professional
- Must have a passion for events
- Comfortable to work in a team environment
- Willing to learn - in service training

Duties & Responsibilities:
Guest Liaison:

- Liaising between the lodge and the restaurant regarding lodge guests stay and meals
- Being the point of contact for guests at the lodge.
- Ensuring guests have the best experience.
- Providing “mini-events” for special guest requirements.

Events:

- Meeting with clients to show the venue and discuss packages
- Remaining in constant communication with the clients up until the day of the event.

Administrative duties:

- Assisting with checking in guests in rooms
- Ensuring all service providers are prepared and ready for the event
- Communicating event requirements to all departments internally timeously.
- Ensuring event set up and clearing is organised efficiently.
- Actively ensuring the brand is promoted.
- Ensuring the client received the ultimate guest experience in line with the goals of the company.
