**Role**:
**Key responsibilities**:

- Processing invoices on a timely and accurate basis
- Dealing with guest billing queries in an efficient manner
- Ensuring that the finance team provides a high quality service to internal and external stakeholders - Ensuring that receipts are reconciled promptly in full and on a timely and accurate basis
- Setting up new guests and other account variations on the billing system
- Ensuring that action is taken to minimise the occurrence of problem debts
- Processing of refunds and adjustments
- Liaison with other colleagues to ensure that anomalies are investigated/queries dealt with in a timely manner
- Investigation of credit balances.
- Liaison with Agents as appropriate
- Other duties appropriate to the post
- Cash Flow forecasting
- Prepare end of the month reports
- Intercompany transactions management

**Key Skills**:

- Proven experience of working in a high volume sales ledger / accounts receivable environment.
- Recognised bookkeeping, credit control or customer services qualification would be desirable
- Knowledge of Xero and / or Elina with intermediate Excel skills would be advantageous
- Proven collections / credit control experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in team oriented environment.
- Ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload, multi-task, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.
- Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Excellent time management skills and must be detail oriented.
- Previous experience within the Hospitality Sector would be ideal but not essential.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant Finance qualification
- IT Literate
- Proven experience of working in a high-volume sales ledger / accounts receivable environment
- AAT qualification
- Experience of sales ledger in hospitality
- Experience of Xero and Elina
- Experience of purchase ledger / accounts payable environment

**Salary**: From R348,000.00 per year
