Butchery Manager

Our well established store set in the heart of the Waterloo community is seeking a vibrant Butchery Manager to our dynamic team. As a butchery manager you will be responsible for maintaining a well-run butchery team by ensuring smooth operations and positive customer experiences of the store.

**Key performance areas**:
Perform people management functions in the butchery.

Ensure client satisfaction of our customers.

Ensure product and stock availability through effective planning.

Take responsibility for all quality control activities in the butchery environment.

Manage the administrative functions within the butchery.

Perform stock management functions within the butchery.

Manage all Hygiene and Safety activities of the butchery.

Conduct various ad-hoc responsibilities to assist the team.

**Desired Experience & Qualification**

Must have matric or a NQF 4 qualification.

Blockman NQF 3 qualification would be advantageous.

At least 3 years’ experience as a Butchery Manager in a customer centric environment.

Basic knowledge of first aid will be advantageous.

Meat Industry Experience.

Knowledge of butchery hygiene and safety standards.

Knowledge of meat cuts/products.
