**Responsibilities**:

- **Conduct Internal Audits**:

- Execute risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
- Evaluate and assess internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
- **Insurance Industry Expertise**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance sector.
- **Consulting Opportunities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address specific consulting needs within the organization.
- Provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance, and internal control enhancement initiatives.
- **Risk Management**:

- Assess and analyze risks related to insurance operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and work with stakeholders to implement effective controls.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare comprehensive and clear audit reports for management, highlighting findings, recommendations, and management responses.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation supporting audit workpapers.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business processes and identify areas of risk and improvement.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations in a clear and constructive manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CISA, CPA) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience as an Internal Auditor with a focus on the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance operations, regulations, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed for consulting opportuni

**Job Type**: Temporary

**Salary**: R400.00 - R700.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
