**Position Overview**: A
**leading top tier financial services concern** has an exciting new opportunity available for an experienced
** IT Strategy Specialist.** The main purpose of this position is to
**facilitate and drive the development**,
**review** and
**implementation** of the
**information and technology (IT) strategy** to
**support** the
**transformation** of the organisation.
**Responsibilities include**:

- Provide thought leadership, decision support and strategic consultation to the Business Solutions and Technology Department (BSTD) and the remaining business.
- Package and present the IT strategy to key stakeholders for the purposes of engagements and approvals.
- Facilitate and drive the development of the IT business plan in support of the IT strategy.

**To be considered for this position, one must have**:

- A** Bachelor’s degree **in** Commerce **or** Computer Science**, or an equivalent qualification**.**:

- A** minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in strategy development **with a** strong focus on IT.**:

- A** postgraduate qualification **will be an** added advantage.**:

- Experience in **strategy development** and **maintenance**.
- Knowledge and skill in **stakeholder management**, and **contract and supplier management**.
