As a national FMCG retailer, our client boasts over 200 sites across the country which service the lower income market. They are enjoying unprecedented growth which has resulted in various internal promotions. In this way a space has become available to assist their real estate development team in creating financial models on Excel which will predict returns on investment by inputting and unpacking the feasibility data. Researching the market conditions for new store locations will also form part of this role but an already sound understanding of financial planning, including depreciation costing, cost of debt, insurance modelling etc is vital to this highly analytical role.

**Objectives of this Role**
- Gathering and Interpreting data
- Participate in regular meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to identify improvements toward department efficiency
- Finding patterns and trends in the analysed data that will help management and other teams draw business goals and needs
- Effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the department
- Submitting reports to the relevant department heads and management evaluating key performance indicators, ongoing reports and updates

**Essential Skills**
- Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analysing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
- Proficiency in mathematics with the skill to translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- The ability to present findings in a polished way
- Experience with managing budgets
- Systematic approach to work load and time management
- Strong Excel Skills

To be considered for this role you will either have a property related degree and at least 2 year's experience in an finance analyst role, or you would have a BCom or Mathematics degree with good exposure to financial modelling.
