Lighting Technician

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all lighting equipment, including fixtures, cables, and control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with lighting equipment in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the Entertainment Department to design and implement lighting for shows, events, and performances **oboard a cruise ship**
- Maintain inventory of lighting equipment and supplies, and assist with ordering new equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards for lighting equipment
- Train and supervise junior lighting technicians as needed

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in lighting technology preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Lighting Technician in a professional setting
- Extensive knowledge of lighting equipment, control systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed

Pay: From R15 000,00 per month
