A **Technical Support Specialist **position has become available in our IT Service Desk team.

The technical support specialist is a generalist position devoted to all aspects of computer assets management, set
- up, installation, troubleshooting, service, upgrades, and maintenance. The position can also include handling how computers connect to each other or the rest of the network; printing, both locally and on the network; and auxiliary devices such as tablets, PDAs, and smartphones. The job duties can be performed remotely from a central location, on premise, or in a combination of the two. The position will require some physical activity such as lifting and moving computer equipment into place or crawling in tight spaces.

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
3 - 5 years technical support experience with specific focus on Client Service, Implementation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of:

- Windows Desktop Operating Systems
- Must have strong Microsoft product knowledge.
- Microsoft Office 365 product knowledge
- Hardware and software support at all levels.
- Active Directory administration
- Basic Networking support (LAN, WLAN, Telephony)
- Desktops/Laptops (preferably Dell)
- Printers (Network/Local)
- Support on Smartphones & Tablets (Apple & Samsung)
- Very strong admin skills, some asset management/tracking experience would be preferable

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- A+ Certification
- MS Office certification (MUST)
- ITIL Certification (Advantageous)

- Interact with users to provide and process information in response to problems inquiries and request about IT and all IT Support.
- Follow standard processes and procedures.
- Identify and escalate priority issues when needed.
- Redirect problems to appropriate resource.
- Follow up and make scheduled call backs to users where necessary. Follow up with users
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
