Medical Aid rate based on principal member only) - To be confirmed - Advert Closing Date - 9/2/2025 - Job Purpose - Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience 1. Grade 12 certificate 2. Qualification that allows registration at SANC as an Enrolled Nurse. Proof of current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with SANC. 3. Minimum of 5 - 10 years appropriate & recognized experience after registration at SANC as an Enrolled Nurse. 4. Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate will be advantageous. 5. Competencies: - Experience in Primary Health Care Environment. - Assist Professional Nurse / Medical doctor during an Emergency. - Knowledge of the Health Legislative & Policy framework - Computer Literacy. - Experience in TB DOTS System - Experience in HIV testing - Experience in Statistical data collection. - Valid driver’s licence will be advantageous. - Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities 1. Sorting of patients through screening, vital signs & triaging 2. Administration functions: Assist with patient appointments at front desk. Collating of monthly statistical data. 3. Assist in Emergencies & report to Professional Nurse or Medical Doctor. 4. Departmental liaison by contact Emergency services as ordered and Liaising with Day hospitals/Government Hospitals. Assist with referrals when necessary. 5. Supervision of TB-DOTS System 6. Assist in HIV testing 7. Stock Control 8. Filing & Recordkeeping - Competencies 1. Clinical Professional Knowledge 2. Carry out his/her duties under direct or indirect supervision of a Professional nurse or Medical Doctor. 3. Good communication skills both written & verbal. 4. Good Interpersonal skills 5. Good report writing skills. 6. Always observe the principles of confidentiality & privacy. 7. High stress tolerance. Ability to work in a high-pressure performance environment. 8.
