**A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter in Grade 2**
**Area**:Dainfern
**Ages**:daughter in Grade 2
**Neurodivergence Snapshot / Support Style**:behind academically and needs support on reading, writing and math. She sees an Occupational Therapist on Fridays and a Speech Pathologist at school - any way to continue the support provided in therapy at home that is ideal.
**Working hours**:Monday - Friday: 06h00 - 07h45. Monday - Thursday: 13h45 - 17h00, Friday: 13h30 - 17h00
**School holiday hours**:Monday - Friday: 06h30 - 16h00 (overtime to be paid for any additional hours).
**Duties**:Get the child ready for school and drop at school, collect from school in the afternoons, take to extra-murals / therapies, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands and occasional grocery shopping, ensure bags are packed for the following day, assist with occasional Babysitting by prior arrangement. Communicate with her teacher about homework and activities to do at home to help her growth. At home, play with her and make sure she is engaged in creative play, reading books, drawing, painting, going for walks in the estate, going to playground, doing homework and eating healthy meals / snacks.

**Requirements**:familiar with Montessori, DIR floor time methods. Background knowledge of child development, learning through play, experiential learning activities. Someone who perhaps is studying to become a teacher or who has a degree in Early Education, Education, Special Needs, Remedial Education.
**Start date**:ASAP start - 2 year long commitment
**Salary: R13 500 - R15 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)**

**All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements**:
**Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.**
**Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.**
**Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.**
**Must have a clear criminal record**
**Must have a passion for children**
**Must have Matric**
**Must have a South African ID document.**
