Specialist Acceptance Tester

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Utilize design documents and process documents to create test cases.
- Engage with design team to understand the testing requirements.
- Create test Plan for assigned functionality
- Create and maintain test execution report
- Effectively conduct testing cycles
- Actively collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness.
- Participating proactively in daily stand-up meetings, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements.
- Conducts end to end Integration Testing including testing of interfaces & APIs
- Coordinate the demand of testing requirements
- Manage the review of requirement specifications
- Coordinate the review and prioritisation of testing requirements
- Responsible for specifying what acceptance testing is required for the project Initiate and update new/changed functionality on the knowledge capture documents
- Review the signed project specifications to create the test plan and test requirements (requirements traceability matrix)
- Manage detailed test cases in relation to the signed project specifications
- Gather information and research to ensure delivery of results
- Obtain agreement on test coverage and completeness in consultation with project stakeholders
- Ensure that the environments, equipment, and data is ready for testing
- Coordinate Acceptance testing of the Functional Requirements of the viewpoint system and business processes with the vendors.
- Coordinate acceptance testing according to Testing Framework and Methodology
- Reporting Identification and Trend analysis of software defects
- Provide feedback to project stakeholders and test manager
- Adhere to testing processes and governance put in place
- Skilled in Analysis, Design and Developing test cases for SQL objects verification and testing.
- Experience in Execution of Test Cases and Preparation of Test Data.
- Experience in Defect management and Bug Reporting using Quality Center, JIRA and RAID.
- Perform manual testing using Informatica (black box), ensuring that content and structure of all testing documents/artifacts is documented and maintained.
- Perform ad-hoc and Regression testing of system components.
- Experience in all types of Test Documentation: Test Scenarios, Test Cases etc.
- Possess good Knowledge of Software Testing Levels, SDLC, Bug Life Cycle, Testing Life Cycle, and database testing procedures

**Education**:

- BSC / Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience is required.

- 5+ years consistent work experience covering similar functions in multinational telecommunication
- with global project rollout experience
- Cloud related projects
- Demonstrate ability to effectively establish and maintain strategic working relationship with peers
- and constitutes at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate analysis, technical and problem-solving skills using critical and innovate thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a Project team

- Good technical knowledge of cloud network and security protocols
- Good understanding of design patterns and SOA reference architectures.
- Understanding of Data base testing methodologies.
- Working technical experience with Oracle Products and direct hands on Testing experience with
- related to Oracle Products
- Exposure to & understanding of Oracle Cloud technology
- Advance and effective verbal, written and communication skills
