Position**:Logistics Manager (Outbound Operations)**

Our client is looking for a dynamic **Outbound Manager** to join their team in the **Cape Winelands area**.

**Overall Job Description**:
We are looking for a dynamic **Outbound Manager** to join our team in the **warehouse, on our farm**. You need to be client focussed and quality oriented with experience in **processes, supply chain or logistics, ideally within an e-commerce environment**. This role suits a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, exciting environment and who can easily adapt to changing market and organisational requirements.

A passion for process, efficiency and delighting the customer with strong attention to detail and project management skills, are essential to succeed in this position. You will need to **manage a small to medium team of drivers and warehouse staff.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the outbound process of daily fulfilment operations
- Route and shipping channel consolidation oversight
- Planning/expediting of daily own-deliveries
- Ensure timely dispatch of orders throughout all shipping channels
- Ensure that outbound queries are resolved timeously
- Manage delivery drivers
- Hospitality-like delivery service management
- Fleet management
- Order return logistics
- Monitor product quality and cold chain throughout the outbound process
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures

**Experience and Qualification Requirements**:

- Relevant Tertiary qualification (eg. Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management)
- At least 3 years’ experience in production / supply-chain / logistics/ E-commerce /hospitality
- People management experience
- A passion to delight customers and give exceptional customer service
- Demonstrate target-oriented and performance-driven attitude
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to adapt to and implement change effectively
- High energy levels
- Fluent in Afrikaans & English, with exceptional writing and communication skills
- A creative approach to day-to-day challenges and a strong sense of ambition

The position in based in the office

**Location**: Paarl, Cape Winelands.

**Salary**: R20 000-R25 000 depending on experience

**Starting date**: As soon as possible.
