This role takes IT to a whole new level, encouraging you to exceed business needs and work in a collaborative team who are just as passionate as you to provide exceptional experiences.ABOUT THE ROLE- WHAT DO YOUR DUTIES ENTAIL?STAKEHOLDER & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT- Controls & prioritizes all business requests
- BRD Consultation on new features / demands
- Reviews and approves communications for key stakeholders
- Proactive engagement with business to identify opportunities
- Actively working with suppliers to ensure SoW is concluded as expected
- Administration of Purchase orders and Invoices for suppliers

ENSURING ITIL BEST PRACTICES- Application support & Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Request Management
- Incident Management
- Service Design

USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT) and SECURITY & MAINTENANCE- End to End User Testing
- Automated Regression Testing incl. Performance Testing (Stability)
- EPA, QUALYS & CIVA & SPS scans - remediation & mitigation
- Ensuring support in compliance and audit requirements
- User Access Management

RESOURCE PLANNING GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (APPLICATION)- Manage the developers and data services pipeline in accordance to set objectives
- SPOC and Active engagement of immediate fixes required
- IT Planning Updates
- Technical Investigation on errors

SERVICE IMPROVEMENT & STRATEGIC OVERSIGHT- Reflecting on P1 and recurring incidents and improving overall
- Reflecting on manual (time-consuming) processes and automating
- Owns the service roadmap
- Reviews and approves identified service risks and mitigations
- Stands as the ambassador to drive digital transformation
- Is clear on the strategic outlook of the organization and actively drives towards

- SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE- Knowledge of Financial Services IT Systems and Business Procedures
- Product knowledge - Finance and Insurance
- Results orientation - ability to analyze information; evaluate results, and present complicated information.- Research and development (data collection, analysis, reporting)
- Development of appropriate models and implementation thereof
- A broad understanding of all areas of management including knowledge of finance, marketing and communication, strategic planning, human resources and information technology

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE- Matric/Grade 12 plus 3 year relevant qualification e.g. B Com Information Technology/Business Management.
- Postgraduate Qualification advantageous.
