**Quality Assurance Software Tester**

**Company**

One of the largest private Medical Aid companies in SA. They have been established for 20 years and are striving to be #1 in SA.

**Responsibilities**
- Run various tests on new software products to ensure that programs satisfy all specifications and requirements.
- Test, tune, debug and suggest the detailed refinements that ensure quality and ease of use of the finished product.
- Work closely with developers to recognize the potential for any operational issues, assess risks, and resolve issues before the new software is complete.
- Checking new software products, for identifying defects or issues and must know which issues are the most important and be able to prioritise them for fixing.
- Record all defect details, creating and distributing reports outlining the types of defects found and the steps taken to resolve these issues
- Run additional tests before products are released to Business for testing and signoff.
- Work to deadlines and must understand production schedules.

**Requirements**:

- 3-4 years’ experience relevant experience
- Understanding of IT management and functions within
- Software development knowledge
- Relevant B.Sc. / BA Computer Science or Relevant IT qualification

**Salary**: R28,000.00 - R32,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pretoria, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelors (required)

**Experience**:
