**Job Overview**

My client in the Industrial Supplies Industry is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their team in Killarney Gardens.

***Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to:)
- Services existing accounts but mostly new accounts, obtain orders, by planning and organizing daily work schedule on Skynamo.
- Will be expected to build his/her own client base.
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and for the purpose of closing sales
- Place and process orders in an accurate manner
- Have suitable/extensive knowledge on all stock items
- Keep abreast of new products, market conditions, advertising and promotional trends through discussions with Manager
- Enter and update customer information in the database
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Always try to increase the orders with clients regarding unknown products.

***Skills and knowledge
- Services existing accounts but mostly new accounts, obtain orders, by planning and organizing daily work schedule on Skynamo.
- Will be expected to build his/her own client base.
- Communication skills are a must.
- Public speaking skills are important as you would have to do customer presentation at times.
- Negotiation skills.
- Product knowledge. Must be a fast learner as you would have to learn a basket of things from engineering tools to safety protective clothing.
- Active listening skills. Listening to want the customer needs are, is of utmost important.
- Time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.

***Experience
- **MUST HAVE Experience in the selling of engineering tools as well as personal protective clothing.**:

- Must be able to work under pressure.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have sober habits as driving is an essential part of this job and must have a valid drivers license.
- Must be goal driven.
