Portfolio Manager: Multi-asset

**Purpose of the role?**- Qualification and Experience?- Appropriate tertiary education, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field; A CFA designation would be a positive additional qualification.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multi-asset portfolios with a strong understanding of financial markets.
- In-depth knowledge of various asset classes, investment strategies, risk management techniques, and portfolio construction principles.
- Proficiency in using financial modelling tools, data analysis software, and portfolio management systems.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data and financial derivatives.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying investment strategies to both internal teams and external clients.
- Adept at building and maintaining client relationships, understanding their needs, and tailoring investment solutions accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make decisions under uncertainty.
- Self-driven and capable of independent work, with a work ethic that does not require constant monitoring or oversight.

**Key Responsibilities?**
- Portfolio Management - develop and implement competitive, relevant, sustainable and marketable investment strategies across a diverse range of asset classes.
- Asset allocation - analyze market trends, economic indicators, and risk factors to determine appropriate asset allocation for clients’ portfolios.
- Research and analysis - conduct thorough research on individual securities, asset classes and investment opportunities, evaluate potential risks and returns to support investment decision making.
- Risk management - monitor and manage portfolio risk by implementing risk mitigation strategies, stress testing, and continuous assessment of market conditions.
- Performance monitoring - track portfolio performance and compare results against benchmarks, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Client collaboration - collaborate with clients to understand their investment goals, risk appetite and financial circumstances and tailor portfolio strategies accordingly.
- Market insights - stay updated with global financial markets, geopolitical events, and economic trends and provide insights to support investment decision-making.
- Reporting - prepare and present comprehensive performance reports to clients, offering transparent and clear explanations of portfolio performance and strategies.
- Compliance - ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements while executing investment decisions.
- Implementation - assist with implementation/execution of strategic decisions taken in the fund.
- Team collaboration - collaborate with research analysts, traders, and other portfolio managers to share insights, strategies, and contribute to a cohesive investment approach.
