Baker

**About Us**:
Our central bakery produces a variety of breads, cakes, and select pastries daily to supply our multiple outlets as well as wholesale customers. As we expand, we're looking for a dedicated Baker to join our passionate and skilled team.

**The Role**:
As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a consistent supply of high-quality bread, cakes, and pastries. You will work closely with the Head Baker and production team to meet daily targets, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to developing new products as we grow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of artisan and yeasted breads, cakes, and pastries
- Follow standard recipes and scaling procedures to ensure consistency and quality
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mixers, ovens, proofers)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Monitor inventory and assist with daily mise en place
- Work early morning or flexible shifts as required to meet production schedules

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a bakery or high-volume production kitchen
- Strong knowledge of bread baking fundamentals
- Familiarity with cake baking and finishing techniques
- Ability to work early mornings and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for baking
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

Pay: R6 000,00 - R9 000,00 per month
