**Requirements**:

- Matric
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Payroll 300 People and accounting software

**Duties**:

- Gather timesheets on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Calculate the allowances and bonuses.
- Use payroll software to prepare employee compensation by the end of each month.
- Plan bank transfers or give employees their paychecks in person
- Distribute payment statements and compile paper or digital receipts that have been signed.
- Payroll expenditure disclosure
- Ensure that tax deductions and salaries adhere to the rules.
- Fill up internal databases with information on new hires, such as bank account and tax identification numbers.
- Respond to inquiries regarding pay, benefits, taxes, and insurance deductions.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 1 month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Payroll: 3 years (preferred)
