We are looking for a **highly skilled and innovative Process Technician** to join our team in **Philippi, Cape Town**. **Your Role & Responsibilities**
- Identify, report and rectify all **technical areas of concern** on assigned production
- equipment (machines, moulds, etc.).
- Have an in-depth understanding of **product and its quality criteria**.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the **process** (material feeding and drying, injection moulding, reheat **stretch blow moulding** and **injection blow moulding**.
- **Mould installation**.
- Technical **principles** and **drawings**.
- Independently develop **maintenance plans** and check lists.
- Independently develop **machine settings** (teamwork as needed).
- Document settings and **adjustments centrally**.
- **Identify spares** needed for assigned equipment.
- **Analyze Defect Register** together with Maintenance Manager & Production Manager to improve production result

**What You Need to Succeed**
- **Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma in Mechanical engineering.**:

- **Minimum 5 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.**:

- **Strong expertise in injection blow moulding & stretch blow moulding**.
- Sound understanding of **drawings**.
- Fundamentals of **fault finding** and equipment testing
- Strong **problem-solving** and **collaboration** skills.
