Quickbooks Bookkeeper/controller

We are currently seeking a skilled QuickBooks Bookkeeper/Controller to join our team and contribute to the financial success of our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- ** Basic Bookkeeping**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments.
- Organize and maintain financial documents and receipts for easy retrieval.
- ** Accounts Payable**:
- Process vendor invoices in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate coding and proper authorization for all payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- ** Accounts Receivable**:
- Generate and send out customer invoices.
- Follow up on overdue payments and communicate effectively with clients.
- Record and reconcile customer payments in the system.
- ** Reconciliations**:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Reconcile other balance sheet accounts as needed.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- ** Financial Reporting**:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- ** Budgeting and Forecasting**:
- Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial forecasts and projections.
- Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- ** Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and tax filings.
- ** Communication**:
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
- Communicate financial information and reports to management in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a QuickBooks Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficient in using QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
- Excellent knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
