**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years commercial or post artcle experience
- Logistics and / or warehousing industry experience would be advantageous

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all financial accounting functions for division are performed timeously, accurately and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Driving efficiencies and process improvements in key deliverables
- Assistance with month end reporting submission
- Oversee GL, review and authorise journals
- Check creditors payments for validity, accruacy, completeness and ensure necessary accruals are done
- Assist operations management to reduce costs and improve profit by closely analysing and reporting financial data
- Provide support to FM with reports and analysis monthly
- Effectively co-ordinate audits(Internal and External) and take prompt corrective action where required
- Implementation and testing of internal controls to safeguard assets
- Preparation of tax packs
- Prepare budget and forecast submission and schedules
- Implementing, review and ensuring adherance to controls
- Accurately and timeously meet the accounting needs of internal and external customers
- Compile and analyse management reports with commentary (monthly, quartely and yearly)
- Prepare General Ledger Journals when necessary. Authorise and review journals
- Prepare Flash schedule
- Assist with necessary Year end packs and Year end processes
- Monthly review of GL recons
- Prepare budget and forecast submission and schedules
- Releasing of EFTs including SARS payments and payroll payments
- Review of tax schedules and guidence to divisions on allocations of expenses and completion of schedules to comply with Income Tax requirements
- Business cases for Capex and projects
