We are in search of the Group Finance Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of Tsebo's operations. You will oversee compliance, reporting, and control functions, maintaining the highest standards of financial management across our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic financial initiatives, optimize shared services, and integrate acquired businesses into our core financial processes.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Lead and improve financial control, accounting, and reporting functions across Tsebo.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize shared services strategy across back-office functions to support our continued growth.
- Drive seamless integration of acquired businesses into our financial controls and central processes.
- Develop, maintain, and implement financial systems and business processes to uphold common standards and quality of controls.
- Incorporate accounting standards into financial policies and procedures and ensure full compliance.
- Manage financial risk across all divisions in collaboration with Group Internal Audit.
- Work with the Tsebo Divisions on cash management and compliance against budget/forecast.
- Collaborate with the Group Debtors Controller to minimize debtors balances and optimize working capital.
- Play a strategic and operational role in planning and executing financial and business strategy.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office;
- Strong decision-making skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Expertise in risk management, governance, and compliance.
- Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and drive results.

**Qualifications**:

- Service orientated experience in Cleaning, Hygiene, Security, Catering, Facilities management and or aligned industry will have an added advantage
- Minimum tertiary qualification in finance or accounting; CA(SA) is highly preferred.
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in financial management and accounting roles.
- Proven track record of success as a Group Financial Controller or similar senior leadership role.
- Extensive experience in the service industry and working with diverse teams will be a distinct advantage
