**Job Purpose**: The Facilities Manager oversees and manages the physical environment and infrastructure of facilities across Coastal regions to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and safety. Responsibilities include maintenance, cleaning, vendor management, resource allocation, device and consumable management, and supervising a team of approximately 10 staff members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee recruitment, training, and development of facilities staff.
- Manage the maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness of facilities across multiple regions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Handle vendor management, including negotiating and implementing service level agreements (SLAs).
- Optimize resource allocation and manage inventory of consumables and equipment.
- Maintain asset registers and coordinate audits for furniture and equipment.
- Supervise travel arrangements and related reporting.
- Oversee the fleet management, including procurement, maintenance, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Conduct performance reviews and address training needs of staff.
- Collaborate with regional personnel to maintain uniform facility standards.
- Ensure timely replenishment of supplies and manage office security through tag issuance.
- Lead daily and monthly building inspections, addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with the HSSE department regarding safety and security incidents.
- Manage the delivery and retrieval of devices for new and departing employees.
- Coordinate with Finance to validate monthly requisitions and ensure proper budget administration.
- Address discrepancies in invoices and statements through liaison with the Finance team.
- Drive compliance with internal procedures and maintain high-quality standards.
- Anticipate and adapt to changes, balancing personal objectives with organizational needs.
- Foster a customer-oriented approach and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Lead periodic staff meetings to discuss facility management updates and improvements.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Degree/Diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in facility management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Proven experience managing a multi-province facility team.
- Strong understanding of budget administration and financial principles.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R20 000,00 - R23 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Plattekloof, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
