Purchasing Manager

Manufacturing company in Killarney Gardens requires the service of a Purchasing Manager / Creditors Manager to join their dynamic team.
Your experience together with a relevant qualification will be as follows:
Creditors Management: Ensure the efficient management of accounts payable processes, timely payment of invoices, and maintenance of supplier relationships while resolving any issues that may arise.
Purchasing Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies, source suppliers, negotiate contracts, monitor inventory levels, and analyze market trends to optimize purchasing processes.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, provide analysis on spending trends, variances, and assist in budgeting and forecasting related to procurement activities.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, assess and mitigate risks, and implement internal controls to prevent fraud.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team, provide guidance on best practices, performance expectations, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and streamline accounts payable and purchasing processes, identify automation opportunities, and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to support organizational goals, effectively communicate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- University degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
- Minimum of four years of experience in creditors management, purchasing management, or related roles.
