**Job Purpose**:
The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide administrative and technical support regarding the ICT Government Motor Transport (GMT) Systems and related ICT services. This post is stationed in Maitland.
**Minimum Requirements**: Senior Certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent qualification) with A+ Certification (or related); A minimum of 3 years relevant experience in IT/ICT environment.
**Recommendation**:
A valid Code B (or higher) driving license.

**Key Performance Areas**: Administer ICT Systems; Coordinate and facilitate the provision of user system and desktop support in liaison with CeI and other service providers; Develop and maintain documentation for both training and server purposes; Facilitate the assurance of Government Motor Transport (GMT) IT system security and governance in liaison with SITA & other service providers; Provide GMT Desktop Support Services; Provide ICT Infrastructure Management Support.
**Competencies**: Knowledge of the following: Information Systems Technology and Software; Configuration Management processes; Data Management; Network Hardware, Protocols, and Standards; Public Management and Administration; Planning and organisational skills.; Communication (written and verbal) skills; Proven computer literacy.
**Remuneration**:
R 269 214 per annum (Salary level 7)
