**Position: Maintenance Scheduler**

Contract opportunities exists for Maintenance Schedulers (Fixed and HME) in the Mining Industry in the Northern Cape, South Africa.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Build effective maintenance schedule, liase with execution team for input, and get required approvals and sign off:

- Define a suitable task start time that suits the required completion time
- Allocate and confirm resources (workspace, equipment, labour)
- Group and separate tasks
- Sequence tasks
- Review status report on daily basis. Schedule newly approved work, and communicate it to all departments accordingly to ensure alignment.
- Support the Work Management process by scheduling all work on time.
- Monitor job completion rates and report trends to the Engineering management team.
- Make recommendation for continuous improvement
- Ensure safety, legal and company policies are adhered to.

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- At least 5 - 10 years' experience in maintenance scheduling gained within the mining industry (Fixed and/or Mobile Plant)

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12
- N4
- Trade Test certificate

**Additional Requirements**:

- SAP experience
