Supply Chain and Distribution Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain and Distribution Manager to join our team and oversee the end-to-end management of our supply chain operations.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and Responsibilities**:
**Supply Chain Planning & Coordination**:

- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Collaborate with suppliers, production, and sales teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Oversee and manage the distribution schedule to ensure the availability of products to meet customer needs.

**Warehouse Management**:

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to increase efficiency and reduce handling times.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and manage the replenishment process.

**Logistics & Distribution**:

- Manage the transportation and delivery of goods, coordinating with third-party logistics providers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
- Track and manage delivery performance metrics to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.

**Cost Management & Optimization**:

- Continuously identify opportunities for cost reduction within the supply chain, including logistics and warehousing.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and logistics service providers to drive cost efficiencies.

**Team Management & Leadership**:

- Lead and mentor the supply chain and distribution team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide training and support to ensure that all staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

**Process Improvement**:

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, improve accuracy, and reduce waste.
- Lead initiatives for automating or enhancing supply chain and distribution workflows.

**Experience, Skills, and Qualifications Required**:
**Education**:

- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant professional certification is a plus.

**Experience**:

- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, distribution, logistics, and warehouse management, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
- Proven experience in managing large teams and overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation logistics.
- Experience with managing inventory, forecasting, and demand planning.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety, and compliance standards within the industry.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
