Stock Controller

This is a full-time on-site role for a Stock Controller at Afrequip located in Mkondeni, Pietermaritzburg. The Stock Controller will be responsible for stock control, stock management, inventory control, and utilizing analytical skills for effective inventory management. The Stock Controller will also need strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers and customers.
**Duties**
- Order, receive and collect stock
- Pick stock for customer orders and
- Liaise with customers regarding their stock requirements
- Deliver stock to customers when required, including after work hours and weekends
- Communicate with courier companies to enusre timeously delivery of stock to branches
- Ensure shelves are sufficiently stocked
- Ensure stock storing procedures are adhered too
- Maintain system stock data integrity
- Perform regular stock takes
- Ensure correct administrative processes are adhered to
- Operate a forklift when required
- Ability to lift heavy parts when required
- Be able to work on standby on weekends on rotation

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics
- Valid drivers license
- Valid Forklift license would be advantagous
