Providing professional and effective ICT support to all users, which may include:

- maintenance on all hardware and software
- management of the relevant ticketing system and resolving tickets accordingly
- set up of new users and devices
- troubleshooting and resolving user queries
- Managing the provincial asset register and sourcing relevant quotes
- Assisting with the setup and ICT support at events and meetings, at locations across the Province

**Minimum requirements**:

- Relevant IT related qualification
- 2 years’ experience in an ICT support role
- 2 years' experience in:

- Microsoft Office software packages and support
- Windows Operating Systems which include issue repairs and installation
- Network setups and issue resolution
- Desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Proficiency in computer hardware systems, chipsets memory modules and peripherals
- Proficiency in networking
- Proficiency in English, with an additional local language (advantageous)
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for daily business related use

- Systematic, comprehensive and attention to detail

**Abilities**:

- Use initiative and work well in high-pressure situations
- Be outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
- Work independently

- Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours, weekends, and public holidays where necessary
