A leading safari operator in Africa is looking for a stand-out junior designer (with 1 - 3 years relevant design experience) for their Cape Town office. This is a hybrid working role.

As Designer in this exciting role, you will help with the upkeep of current marketing collateral (internal and external) and resizing of imagery for various platforms. You will work closely with the Senior Designer to ensure that the creative output is aligned with the briefs based on the business objectives and brand identity.

Note: The office is situated in the Milnerton area and requires 2 days per week in-office.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised institution
- 1-3 years’ previous work experience in a design/creative role - preferable
- Design abilities in both print and digital fields
- High level of expertise using Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Lightroom
- A good understanding of visual elements and maintaining a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints
- An eagerness to work on multiple channels, integrated campaigns, and marketing materials. These include but not limited to the brand websites, social media content, print media, online assets, in-camp collateral, agent marketing material etc.
- Some understanding of the role of sales-driven and leads-driven creative executions
- Keep up to date on design and advertising trends across different business offerings, but mostly in the luxury tourism and safari industry
- A strong portfolio of previous work
- Excellent attention to detail (the company works with a lot of brand collateral that requires consistency across all touchpoints)
- Great team player; and cool under pressure and forward thinking
- Good understanding of design in the luxury travel space is beneficial
- An eager interest for positive impact and conservation
- Able to attend compulsory staff events taking place within working hours
- Attend all training and development programs as required.
