Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Control Room Operator to join the team. You will report into the Operation’s Manager. We are looking for Control Room Operators with the following minimum requirements & experience: - not limited to.
- Minimum Grade B PSIRA Registered.
- Firearm competency for all firearms (for business purpose)
- Control Room Operator Certificate.
- Grade 12 is essential.
- No criminal record.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CCTV)
- Excellent Communication in English.
- Clear knowledge of security protocol's and procedures.
- Integrity and trustworthy.
- Problem solving skills, ability to troubleshoot security systems, such as access control systems, CCTV camera's etc.
- Goal driven and hard working.
- Radio & Telephone Etiquette.
- Sober Habits.
- Contactable Reference.
- CCTV certificate.

NB: Qualifications and criminal records will be checked.

SALARY: PSIRA 2024 Grade B basic Salary with overtime.

**Duties**:

- To be responsible for the day-to-day operations.
- Roster sites, ensure coverage at all times.
- Compile all required reports, accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor guard point systems.
- Be the first point of contact for the Security team.
- Able to deal with day-to-day matters such as standards of dress, discipline, and conduct are met and adhered to.
- Data capturing (Reports and Incidents).
- Daily CCTV and other system checks (ensure all cameras and monitoring systems are fully functional).
- Filing of relevant documentation.
- Communicating relevant information regarding movements on and offsite.
- Communicate with armed response and field supervisors regarding detailed information where needed.
- Ensure familiarity with all the monitoring systems deployed in the control room.
- Ensure that customer service levels are exceptional and that internal customers receive exceptional service.
- Ensure that control room equipment is looked after and kept in good working order and that damages or equipment failures are reported to the Site Manager immediately.
- Ensure that any important messages are conveyed in the Security Handover and that all security personnel read and acknowledge them.
- Ensuring security records and logs are being kept up to date.
- Ensure the security team are compliant with all relevant legislation on data protection.
- Assist in review of Security Officers performance and development.
- To assist in any HR processes.
- Ensure that technical requests for assistance are well coordinated and communicated.
- WhatsApp groups are updated per shift.
- Easy Roster experience.
- Competency needed.
- Reliability, self
- motivation and ability to use own initiative and work without supervision.
- The ability to solve problems, make decisions and prioritise.
- The ability to transfer self-motivation to staff.

**Education**:

- Grade 12 (Matric - Required)
- Basic Computer skills

**Experience**:

- Control Room Operator: 2 years (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)

Pay: From R6 900,00 per month

**Education**:

- Certificate (preferred)
