**What you will do**:
As Sales Manager to join our Commercial Team in Bryanston, Jhb. The First Line Sales Manager is a full-time position, responsible for developing and implementing Oncology brand strategies. The Sales Manager will work very closely with the Business Unit Director to deploy and adapt the AZ brand strategy to the local market, including tactics and execution. The Sales Manager reports to the SA Business Unit Director.
The Sales Manager leads, coaches and develops the team of Patient Journey Partners, in order to achieve high patient penetration rates by delivering the set sales budgets and growth ambition. The Sales Manager will lead the team to drive patients’ identification, sales activities through proactive identification of business opportunities, communicating value propositions aligned to customers’ needs and objectives and recommending solutions to drive and develop the Oncology portfolio.
**Typical Accountabilities Include**:
- Full responsibility of managing sales team for the assigned therapeutic areas including staffing, performance management, and overall organization of field activities
- Develops sales plans for the Oncology portfolio by identifying key opportunities and the specific actions to realize them in accordance with the strategy and tactics defined in the brand plan. Analyses and monitor data behind competitive actions to determine the opportunities and risks for Oncology portfolio, as well as to make appropriate recommendations to maximize opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
