To establish and manage a world class Analytics and Data Science department. The incumbent manages CHG’s data management, creates data strategy and establishes and implements best practice standards for data analytics and business intelligence.

**Minimum Qualifications and Experience**:

- Honours in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science.
- 5-7 years’ experience as an Actuarial Scientist.
- 2 years of people management experience.
- Healthcare experience is advantageous.

**Minimum Job Requirements**:

- Manage the Data Science and Analytics department.
- Develop and oversee CHG’s Data Science and Analytics strategies and frameworks, inclusive of establishing and maintaining reporting systems.
- Support, guide and provide advisory services relevant workstreams [Clinical, Finance, Hospital Management] to achieve operational success.
- Drive continuous improvement, identify and manage operational risks.
- Define, establish and utilise an efficient and effective knowledge capture process, tooling and reporting.
- Ensure the development and implementation of Advanced Data driven models to optimise identified business processes.
- Use Data science as a tool to predict business performance.
- Use data science as a tool to predict clinical outcomes and improve safety.
- Provide consistent, high-quality advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Analyse trends, anticipate issues and ensure contingency plans are in place; proactively recommend solutions to identified risks.
- Provide advice (and where necessary draft relevant documentation) regarding CHG Standards, Policies and SOPs pertaining to Data Science, Analytics and Business Intelligence.
- Identify innovative ways to improve business practices, processes and synergies to increase efficiencies.
