Technical Skills:

- Diploma or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of IT procurement, including cloud computing, networking, and software licensing.
- Knowledge of South African ICT and industry standards (SANS, ISO 27001, POPIA, etc.) is advantageous.

Procurement Skills:

- 1-3 years of experience in IT procurement coordination, supply chain, or vendor management.
- Proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Suite, SAP, ServiceNow, AWS Cost Management).
- Basic understanding of RFQ/RFP processes and IT vendor coordination.
- Certified Purchasing Practitioner (CPP).
- Supply Chain Management Certification (SCM).
- ITIL Foundation Certification (for IT Service Management).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage IT procurement records.
- Ability to work effectively with IT and cloud solution providers.
- Sense of urgency and accountability.
- Desirable Certifications:

- Certified Purchasing Practitioner (CPP).
- Supply Chain Management Certification (SCM).
- ITIL Foundation Certification (for IT Service Management).

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Accuracy and timeliness of IT procurement documentation.

- **What You’ll Do**:
IT and Cloud Service Procurement Coordination:

- Assist in reviewing and organising IT-related technical specifications provided by internal stakeholders.
- Ensure specifications for cloud services, SaaS, hardware, and software align with operational needs.
- Liaise with IT and network teams to clarify technical requirements where necessary.

Market and Vendor Research:

- Support research on market trends for IT procurement, including cloud computing solutions, cybersecurity services, and enterprise software.
- Gather and compare vendor certifications, capabilities, and compliance with South African ICT standards.
- Assist in evaluating vendor proposals for IT infrastructure, software licensing, and cloud-based services.

IT Procurement Process Support:

- Assist in drafting and managing RFQs (Request for Quotations) and RFPs (Request for Proposals) for IT and cloud service providers.
- Support vendor evaluation, contract management, and maintain procurement decision records.
- Coordinate procurement schedules for software renewals, IT hardware upgrades, and cloud services deployment.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure IT procurement documentation aligns with B-BBEE, SANS standards, POPIA, and PFMA (if applicable).
- Assist in identifying and addressing potential risks in IT procurement, such as cybersecurity vulnerabilities and cloud service reliability.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of IT procurement activities, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
- Assist in generating reports on procurement performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with IT governance frameworks.

Process Improvement:

- Stay updated on IT procurement best practices, including cloud cost optimisation and digital transformation trends.
- Assist in implementing improved procurement procedures to streamline IT and cloud service acquisitions.**
