**Role Purpose**

This role plays a pivotal role in expanding an agile mindset within the organisation while championing the successful adoption of change initiatives. This role focuses on establishing a supportive environment that prioritises individual needs and engagement, supports and facilitates learning and development, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement. This role will also be responsible for supporting and aligning agile delivery plans with strategic objectives to enhance business performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

**Role Description**

**People and Change Adoption/Enablement**
- Establish a nurturing environment that prioritises the needs of individuals, fosters engagement, facilitates learning and development, and embraces change.
- Advocate for and assist stakeholders, adopt an agile mindset, and effectively implement agile methodologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to teams on the importance of organisational values in achieving successful implementation and user acceptance.
- Act as a reliable advisor for teams and stakeholders to ensure optimal business performance and delivery excellence.
- Collaborate with agile teams to ensure alignment in meeting customer/stakeholder needs and achieving high levels of satisfaction.
- Conduct analysis, gather feedback, and integrate user input to identify opportunities and potential obstacles in realising the full value of new functionalities and work methodologies.
- Assist with strategy input to enhance stakeholder resilience and motivation, while addressing and minimising resistance to change.
- Contribute to creating experiences that drive behavioural and cultural shifts within the agile environment.

**Agile Delivery**
- Adhere to the epic delivery plan by translating it into a synchronised agile delivery plan that effectively and sustainably integrates the change/functionality/solution into the business.
- Align with epic and agile delivery owners to collaborate on delivery priorities and interdependencies.
- Attend to product/service offerings with agile teams to understand their relevance within the stakeholder context (customer, team).
- Conduct analysis to provide continuous feedback into the delivery engine, ensuring agile teams are informed of changing business or user requirements to develop valuable solutions.
- Comply with ensuring the agile team can execute the roadmap and identify, remove, and escalate blockers to maintain value flow.
- Gather and investigate appropriate stakeholder communication and engagement channels, organising information and creating content to drive adoption across the business.
- Assist with reporting on stakeholder interests, concerns, and issues to identify opportunities for unlocking overlooked value for the business.
- Service and support agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and sprint reviews.
- Train and utilise functions to drive and track adoption across the business.
- Collaborating effectively, and continuously improving delivery processes to drive value and success within the business.

**Qualifications and experience**
- Degree or Diploma in Business, HR, Change Management or a related field - (essential).
- +2 years' experience in an agile people enablement role, with sound understanding of successfully operationalising the delivery of new functionalities, methodologies and ways of working - (essential).
- Knowledge of agile and design methodologies with success employing these in a pragmatic way to achieve business outcomes - (essential).
- Understanding of agile change and project management methods to lead cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams and deliver projects in full compliance to business objectives - (essential).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 with an advanced level of Excel capability - (essential).
- Understanding of retail business processes - (preferred).
